We LOVED working on this Instagram Marriage Proposal idea with Joachim. Instagram is sooo a pop-culture craze and we love keeping up with the trends which is why we were so excited that Joachim hired The Heart Bandits to plan his proposal. Joachim and Janis love taking photos and they love Instagram even more. No seriously, they even brought a selfie-stick with them the day he proposed. #LOVE Joachim flew to San Francisco from Singapore to visit Janis. Joachim asked Janis to take a romantic stroll with him through a park that overlooked the city. She probably thought, what a great place to take #selfies! Though rain threatened to ruin the day, we quickly moved the proposal into the cutest little gazebo so they would be protected from the storm.
When Janis saw the gazebo, her heart melted. There she saw blown up photos of her and Joachim, all formatted into Instagram style photos. He proposed and she said YES! A friend popped out and presented her with her favorite flowers. And then, the selfie-stick was brought out so they could Instagram their proposal!
