We have planned a lot of Los Angeles rooftop proposals but this one is by far the most beautiful. The theme for this proposal is GRAND! Farhan really wanted to impress his girlfriend Christine with his marriage proposal which is why he hired Los Angeles Proposal Planners – The Heart Bandits.
Initial Proposal Idea
Initially, Farhan was going to do a Flash Mob engagement because his girlfriend loves grand displays of love. He then decided to do something even more over-the-top though. He came upon the idea to rent out a rooftop in downtown Los Angeles where he could have amazing views of the city for his marriage proposal. This rooftop had it all! Amazing views of ALL of the downtown buildings, vies of the Hollywood sign, and even a glimpse of the Pacific Ocean. How much more grand can you get than that?!
Proposal Theme & Decor
To go with the grand theme, we decided on the elegant color scheme of black, white, and gold. This really makes you think of Great Gatsy type of grandeur right? This color scheme also really complimented the color of the surrounding buildings. We brought in our favorite florist to provide luxurious white floral arrangements with gold containers.
It’s All In The Details
We also brought in a white aisle runner to create an pathway that was made up of the gorgeous floral arrangements and photos. The framed photos spanned the entire timeline of their relationship so as to create a memory lane type of feel as they walked through the decor. At the end of the aisle was a black and gold map highlighting all of their travels and adventures together. The map had the inscription, “To a lifetime of adventures together.”
One Last Grand Touch
If you think this setup screams GRAND, just wait… there is more! We brought in an a cappella group that was waiting at the end of the aisle next to the gorgeous sign and the beautiful downtown LA view. The group was there to serenade Farhan’s girlfriend with “their” song, “Better Together,” by Jack Johnson.
The Big Moment
To throw off Christine and make it a bigger surprise, Farhan told her that they were going to be meet up with some friends at a new LA rooftop lounge. When Christine and Farhan finally arrived, she was shocked to see that it was an actual rooftop with no public crowd there but instead had a beautiful setup. As Farhan walked her down the aisle the a cappella group begin singing her song. All the displayed photos helped her reminisce about the great memories they shared together. The beautiful flowers brought a smile to her face knowing that he knew her favorite flowers and colors. Farhan walked her to the map, told her how much he loved her, and proposed!
She of course said YES!! We are so honored to have been a part of their special day. Congratulations to Farhan and Christine! We wish you two a lifetime of happiness!
