As expert wedding proposal planners, it’s fun to look back on all of the successful proposal ideas we helped to create. It’s been an amazing year so far and we’re thankful to be involved in so many of our clients’ love stories. We’re more than excited to see what the rest of the year has in store for us. First though, let’s recap some of our most favorite proposals of the year so far! Here is a list of our top 5 marriage proposals from 2023:
1. Pink Sparks
Ishaq came to us in need of help to create a proposal that makes a big statement! There were some MUST Have’s that he wanted included in his proposal such as a poem, a letter he wrote her, and sparklers. We came up with the idea to have his poem be the focal point of the proposal. We surrounded the hanging poem with beautiful pink florals and candles. The couple walked into a gorgeous room with floor to window ceilings and Ishaq read her the poem he wrote for her. He dropped to his knee and he proposed. Once she said yes, sparklers shot off. After the proposal, they sat down at a cozy lounge area we set up and Ishaq surprised her with a custom wooden book featuring a love letter he had written for her.
2. Beauty and the Beast Proposal
Disney themed proposals are timeless. They always have been and they always will. This Beauty and the Beast theme proposal is so gorgeous that we had to feature it in our top 2023 proposals so far. We decorated the private gazebo with gorgeous draped fabric. We brought in a ton of gold candelabras just like the one in the movie. On top of the candelabras we placed stunning red rose arrangements. The rose arrangements complimented the Beauty and the Beast rose under the bell glass. Utsav proposed and of course, his beauty said yes.
3. Stunning Big Bear Proposal
David wanted to make his proposal extra special. Therefore he reached out to us to help him create a proposal his girlfriend Devon would never forget! We helped him customize his proposal by creating a sort of memory lane that displayed photographs of places they traveled. We then placed below each picture a special memory the couple shared together. David walked Devon down an aisle of rose petals as she read each memory, then they reached an arch overlooking Big Bear Lake and he proposed!
4. Sunflowers
Lauren contacted us to plan her surprise proposal in Key West. We found the most beautiful private location overlooking the ocean for this dream proposal. Because Lauren and her partner love to travel, and she loves sunflowers, we came up with the perfect proposal concept. When they arrived, they walked down an aisle of dried pampas, sunflowers, and framed photos. Lauren walked Stephanie to the end of the aisle where there was a gorgeous arch made of sunflowers. Suspended from the arch was a sign that says, “I Want To Travel With You Forever.” Lauren proposed.
5. Fairytale Boston Proposal
Jeff wanted a proposal idea that told a story and represented all the memories he’s built with his girlfriend Genevieve. We filled a romantic gazebo in their favorite city, Boston, with candles, pink and purple roses, framed photos. Additionally we added rustic signs with sweet messages from Jeff. As they walked through the gazebo together, Genevieve was overwhelmed with the sweet touches Jeff added. He got down on one knee and popped the question, and without hesitation she said yes!
